So, you see, this is me: born and grew up in China, but by God's choice, now a Japanese.

I'm doing a research on my son, Tomoki.

Ten years old this year, a simultaneous Chinese-Japanese bilingual, and a semi-receptive English speaker. Fantastic he is, always to my surprise, magically handle the languages free to his will, from the time when......I cannot tell, though he has been with me all the time.

So, I began to release something about him years ago, in the form of research papers.

Trilingualとは、なに？

三つの言語もできることだよ。

一番立派なtrilingual話者は、英語、中国語、日本語の三カ国語が話せる人だ。

日本の環境は、この三つの言語で発達する最も理想的な環境である。

”大人になると…、”　いや、今から、よちよち歩いてる赤ん坊から、生まれてから三つの言語で育ったら、自然に身に付くことだよ。キーワードを覚えてね：親の熱意・決意・執着、子どもの仲間（英語話者、中国語話者、日本語話者それぞれ）

それだけで結構です。

だけど、語学とは、たちどころにその素晴らしさに至るではなく、一歩一歩上手になることだ。

子どもの将来のため、お父様、お母様、僕と共に頑張りましょう。
